Stage 1. Understand the situation
The master clarifies:
- the door is slammed or locked;
- the key is lost, broken or inside;
- how many locks are closed;
- whether independent attempts occurred;
- whether there are urgent circumstances.
The last point is especially important. If inside:
- small child;
- a person who may need help;
- a potentially dangerous device is turned on;
- there is another immediate threat,
the priority may already be completely different.
Stage 2. Check access rights
Before opening, you must ensure that the person has the legal right to enter the premises. The order depends on the specific situation.
Stage 3. Inspect the door
Only now the specialist determines:
- lock type;
- condition of the mechanism;
- door condition;
- probable reason for blocking.
