Klasy zamków — wyjaśnienie
Lock classes are a European standard (EN 12209) that rates how well a lock resists theft. Class 1 is the weakest, class 6 is the strongest.

Which class do I need?
- Apartment door: at least class 3 — a good balance between price and protection.
- House exterior door: class 3–4 — class 4 provides significantly better protection.
- Office/commercial: class 4–5, depending on the contents and insurance requirements.
- Interior room/WC: class 1–2 is fully sufficient.
Security Classes vs Lock Classes — What Is the Difference?
The lock class rates the lock itself. The security class (RC 1–6, formerly WK) rates the entire door assembly — the door, frame, seals and lock together. For apartment doors, RC 2 or RC 3 requirements are often discussed.
